Welcome to Term 2

Kia ora koutou Ruma rima,

Welcome back to Term 2,

I hope everyone has had a lovely restful holiday and  you are all ready for an exciting term of learning.🙌

We ended the term with our 3 way conferences and  all of you set some goals for this term.            ðŸ‘ª

One important thing we discussed was how to be better organised and ready to work.  Let's try hard with this so we are focused and always doing our best.

We want to become independent learners and use AKO so we do what we promised on our class treaty .

Here are some reminders:
  • Read the timetable every morning
  • Have your device ready everyday
  • Have a sharp pencil, a ruler, and one sensible rubber ready
  • Have a tidy desk
  • Check your work as you go to fix up mistakes
  • Present your work tidily
  • Think about the goals for maths, writing and reading that you talked to your families about and try to achieve these.
  • Ask for help
  • Help others who are needing it
If you can think of anything that I have forgotten please comment on this blog.
Have a wonderful term. I am really looking forward to it.

Miss Cowsill  ðŸ˜‰
