Dear room 5,

I am looking forward to seeing your finished ANZAC Inquiry presentations.  Don't forget that they all have to be ready to share by next Friday.  I am really pleased with the groups that are working well with their teams to get this finished.  Remember this is ako!  Here are some photos of how our class is getting into the ANZAC spirit.
Arabella with her Grandfather's W.W. 1 bugle.

Annabel with the wonderful ANZAC biscuits she made for our class.

Jade with her special lunchbox.

Anna wearing her ANZAC poppy.
It was also great to have the chance at being the first class to go down to the field of crosses,  I loved the special comments that some of our class shared  at this time.

Thank you to Liam, who represented the Year 4 classes at the special ANZAC assembly we had.  It was great to see all our poppies on the letter S.

It was also very special to listen to the Last Post being played by Hugh from the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra.  It was very sad!

Once again, keep working on your presentations.  Try to share as much information as you can so the others get to learn from you.  One week to go with these!

Thanks
Miss Cowsill

P.S  Don't forget that we are at the end of our time with Simon and the Garden to Table programme.  Start thinking about what you can say in a thank you letter to him.
